3 Rebellious Whiskey Cocktail Recipes for Fall

The leaves are changing color, the temperature outside is dropping, and the big game is always on. Those are the wonders of fall — as are these rebellious cocktails made with Rebel Yell. Heavy on flavor, they add spirit to your fall drink lineup.

Honeycrisp Manhattan
Serves 2

3.5 ounces Rebel Yell Small Batch Rye
1.5 ounces sherry
4 dashes aromatic bitters
1 Honeycrisp apple, cut into 1/8-inch slices, seeds removed
1 tablespoon sugar
Pinch of salt

Place 2 apple slices, sugar, and salt in a cocktail shaker. Muddle well. Add the Small Batch Rye and stir. Allow the flavors to meld before adding the sherry, bitters, and ice. Stir well.

Strain over fresh ice into champagne coupe or rocks glass. Garnish with apple slice.

Angry Yell
Serves 1

1.5 ounces Rebel Yell Ginger Whiskey
1 ounce cranberry juice
1 ounce fresh citrus sour
1.5 ounces hard cider
Lemon, for garnish

Add ice to cocktail shaker. Pour first three ingredients into cocktail tin and shake. Strain over fresh ice into short rocks glass and top with cider. Garnish with lemon wheel.

Bitter Italian
Serves 1

2 ounces Rebel Yell Root Beer Whiskey
1 ounce mint simple syrup
1 ounce fernet
Mint, for garnish

Add ice to cocktail shaker. Pour ingredients into cocktail tin and shake. Strain over fresh ice into short rocks glass. Garnish with mint sprig.
